First time staying at this lovely hotel. I’m a big fan of BrewDog beers so this hotel was defo on my list to try. Decided to treat myself to an overnight stay as something to look forward to to kick off 2023. The hotel was easy to find as only a short walk from Waverley station. The building looked amazing from the outside - I was later informed that the hotel is a converted old school building! I arrived about 2pm and check in wasn’t until 3pm so decided to have lunch and a beer in the bar while I waited. The staff were very attentive and happy to take my order at the table (rather than having to faff on with the QR code). I went for the moving mountains burger with fries and a lost lager. The bar was quiet but still had a good atmosphere and the food was great. Again upon check in the person on the desk was very welcoming and helpful. She gave me my complementary pint and showed me to the room, explaining all the features etc. This made me feel very welcome to the hotel especially as a solo traveller. The room itself was amazing! So much space, lovely cosy bed and the shower beer fridge was stocked full of some great choices! There was also an extensive mini bar which I’d defo be sampling if I stayed again or was travelling with a friend. For the evening I’d booked on the beer school which was hosted by Rory from the bar staff. As it was just me who had booked Rory certainly made it a very personal experience! He asked what beers I’d like to try and introduced me to some lovely New England IPAs and Stouts I’d not usually go for! He was very informative and happy to answer any questions. I really enjoyed the experience and having a good chat with someone so enthusiastic and passionate about craft beer!! Will defo return to this hotel, really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff certainly made it a great experience as everyone was so helpful and happy to chat! Perfect location too being right next to the royal mile and minutes from the station. Overall the hotel had a good atmosphere and I had such a relaxing trip!…

Was given an over night stay as an X-Mas present for me and my fiancé and we were blown away. The place itself was absolutely amazing topped off with fantastic service from all the staff. Our stay was absolutely flawless, food was absolutely delicious , the room was so cosy and comfortable the add on packages were good value and staff are really easy to reach if you need help with anything.

What an epic little hotel. I’m a big Brewdog fan so probably a little bias but I think all the effort that has gone into the style and set up is evident and well worth it. We treated ourselves to a brewmaster suite for 2 nights. The location is ideal as it’s very close to the station (but still quiet). The staff were all very friendly and helpful, you can just send them a WhatsApp and they jumped to help (we had issues ordering room service on the App so just send a message and it was sorted). The room had everything you could want plus a few bonuses (I won’t spoil and surprises). The common area in the middle was ideal for grabbing a coffee and some sweets to just chill and of course the two bars had all the good beer you could manage. Food was excellent as always. My only minor areas for improvement would be getting a few of the basics right, for example we didn’t have coffee cups in our room so had to go and ask for them, and the coffee wasn’t restocked when our room was cleaned. Oh and I attempted the puzzle in the room but I def think there were some pieces missing. Overall I would highly recommend. I will probably try the Manchester version next.…

We stayed in the hotel and we were blown away by how cool the rooms are! We loved the many amenities and sleek style of the room. The shower beers and mini keg were a fun touch and we had the best time playing the records on the record player. The staff was very welcoming and the beer selection was varied and interesting. We would love to stay here again.

Thank you for an unforgettable experience. My husband and I both absolutely loved our time with you and the staff are incredible. The rooms are so good we felt like staying I rather than go out. We can not wait to come back
