Such a gorgeous plot with the friendliest hosts! Highly recommend the creek side yurt. The cows were such lovely company (and kept their distance), and the goats were fun entertainment! 10/10 will be back <3

Glamping at its finest!

The tiny stone house was a cozy, quiet getaway for a long relaxing weekend. We enjoyed the comfy loft bed, the fire pit, friendly cats and convenient location which was close to fantastic hikes, historical adventures, and tasty food options. Camping was our original plan but it sure was nice to have a shower and a fridge at the end of the day.

Barn days

I loved the idea of sleeping overnight in a barn that combined both the concept of the barn with the one of a space completely equiped to fulfill all the needs one could have while on vacation. The space was so neat and clean and DREAMY!! I completely fell in love with it, the way it looked at sunset and the way it looked at sunrise too, how the light was seeping though the planks and lighting the space up in gold light! I enjoyed the games they provided and i was over myself with the foosball table which i didn't expect. My friends enjoyed the xbox games and the outside firepit and grill more than i expected them too. Everything was over our expectations and the only thing i feel sorry about is that i couldn't stay there longer! Thank you Jackie and Eric! You were great hosts and responded fast to our requests! You're doing a great job, so keep it up! =)))

The barn was beautiful! A unique experience that I will always remember. The space was thoughtfully set out with lots of space, things to do, and little touches to make the stay comfortable.

Lovely place to stay!

The stone cabin was perfect, cozy, and comfortable, and the atmosphere on the property was lovely and peaceful. We will definitely be booking again soon!

Great Glamp!

My husband and I enjoyed our time in the tiny stone house. The house itself was very comfortable and the facilities were clean. The bed was comfy cozy. I should mention, the shower had very low pressure. I have lots of hair and I wouldn't even attempt to wash it in that shower. It wasn't a big deal for me because I don't wash my hair daily and we didn't do any strenuous hiking or outdoorsy stuff. I simply offer this as practical info for your trip planning. Enjoy!

My sister and I had a great time here! The place had some really nice amenities (mini fridge, shower, Roku TV, etc) and had the cutest decor inside (our favorite part)! We also loved hanging out with the cats and were planning to meet the goats but unfortunately ran out of time (next time though for sure). Jacqueline and Eric were also really friendly and accessible hosts! They were really communicative which made it easy on us!Will definitely be returning to this site!

Awesome experience, great venue

We booked this site for a club reunion and we were beyond pleased with how everything turned out. We had a larger group of a little les than 20 people, Jacqueline and Eric set up an additional camping space in a more remote field in addition to the barn space. they went above and beyond by building us a new fire pit, printing out maps for us of the property, and bringing wood down to the field for us. Given the larger group there were two moments where the hosts had to bring some minor concerns to our attention but they did so graciously and they were very understanding. The space itself was great for what we needed. The charcoal grill and barn space were perfect for accommodating some members who didn’t have tents and for storing and prepping our food. The back field was nice and private and the bonfire pit was a much appreciated addition. In planning the event the hosts were very communicative and accommodating to our needs which we greatly appreciated. The space is also close to fun hiking and tubing locations. I would definitely recommend this venue for reunion and group events.

We had a nice peaceful time at this beautiful spot. The location is really wonderful and accessible, especially for visiting Harper’s Ferry and Antietam. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions and the tiny stone house was comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. We really enjoyed hanging out with coffee on our little deck! My daughter and I chose to sleep on the sofa bed since the ladder to the loft was a struggle for my middle-aged self to climb, and unless we were missing something the loft and the sofa bed can’t be used simultaneously without trapping someone in the loft. The sofa bed was super comfortable though and we slept fine. The only small issue I had with our stay was with the “facilities” - The porta-potty was reasonably clean but definitely could have benefitted from an extra service after the weekend. And I think the outdoor shower may have been having some technical issues but the hosts did try to help us sort them out. Overall, I loved the farm and the beautiful pasture view!

Rustic and snuggly!

What a romantic little spot. We came with our two kids, who loved the tire swing, trampoline, goats, and cows. It was the perfect blend of rustic cooking over a wood fire and watching the sunset with a warm bed to cuddle into. And you should checkout the barn and yurt as other options on the farm!

Cozy, quiet, happy little place!

The space is so cozy and everything I needed to hide from the world for a little while! It was incredibly quiet (outside of the occasional comment from a nearby cow), even though there were some other people staying on other parts of the property. Keep in mind the toilet is not inside the space, but it was very clean and well-lit at night. Jacqueline's instructions were great, and she was very responsive when I needed help with something, even though it was late.

A very cozy getaway

I rented this tiny house for one night for the two of us in mid march and loved it! It was so cute, with a pretty spacious loft on the top and a couch and living space on the bottom. We were planning on hiking around the area but it ended up snowing when we came, so we explored the neighboring town and played some of the games we found in the house. Overall we loved it, and they were great hosts-they gave us cutlery and things to eat with, and the bed was even made! If you are renting in the winter months be forewarned that this rental does have a rather strict cancelation policy, which makes sense since they put a lot of effort into getting it ready for us. But other than that, I absolutely recommend it, and might be coming back!

it was an absolutely beautiful stay! there are cows and goats to feed and they have all the amenities you could need! it was a lovely getaway for my one year anniversary and it was so romantic peaceful and absolutely a wonderful time. jacqueline and eric take time out of their day to make sure you’re having a comfy stay. we will definitely be coming back!!

What a Gem!

What a gem! This tiny house is absolutely adorable! The hosts have really put their love into this pint sized place. ❤️ If you are thinking about booking… do it! It is just lovely. My husband and I stayed at the Tiny Stone House with our two girls for two nights. During the day time hours we enjoyed some of the gorgeous scenery in the area. As the chill of night set in… the Tiny House was the perfect place to cozy up. We highly recommend.

We had a great time glamping at the Big Red barn! The bed was comfortable and the extra touches really added to the rustic atmosphere. It was quite lovely. Our family of four stayed two nights and would definitely recommend. The hosts responded quickly to any questions and were very pleasant to correspond with.

The barn is setup in a very thoughtful way with a dedicated lounge area separate from the sleeping area, nice amenities, and great lighting. The sleeping area includes a queen size bed with a really nice dual zone adjustable heated pad that really came in handy for the cool weather during our trip. Be sure to bring water, but the Hosts did provide some water for your trip should you run out. The bathroom is only a short walk away, and impeccably clean.This listing is very conveniently located a short drive from Frederick, MD, and an even shorter drive to Harper's Ferry or the Annapolis Rock / Black Rock Cliff Trailhead. Jacqueline and Eric are very communicative and available should you need them!

Wonderful Relaxation

Staying in the big red barn was absolutely fantastic! Frankly, we didn't know what to expect, but after a night on the AT sleeping outside the Ed Garvey shelter, the warm shower was all we really needed. To make it even better, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and some of the most refreshing soap was there for us to use! The firepit was perfectly set up, and there was even kindling to ensure we could get started fast. The brochures in the welcome book quickly lead us to an italian restaurant more than willing to deliver. In the morning we even got to visit a cute goat behind the barn. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in the Big Red Barn. Our children, 8 and 11, loved the novelty of sleeping in a barn and interacting with the goats and cows. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The accommodations were everything that we needed for a one night stay, though the lack of running water may have been an issue if we planned to stay longer. It would have been helpful to have a more welcoming outdoor seating area by the barn, but the fire pit area was a great place to play a card game.

So cool

This place is a dream. Loved staying here, I extended my 1 night stay to 2 nights. The barn has massive doors you can swing wide open to extend your living space. Definitely one of the highlights! Such a cool experience sleeping in a barn surrounded by hay. (It felt very clean inside!) I made a campfire, roasted marshmallows, reflected on life, took evening strolls in the countryside and listened to music. Got my much needed rest. 5 stars,
