Not a customer but I was here for a customer. I understand that this place was in the process of moving to a different facility during my visit. The waiting area was very small. The computers were being dismantled for the move. Hopefully the new facility will solve both issues.

Highly recommended! Melinda answered my first call. She had such a friendly voice, and she was so helpful with insurance questions prior to my first visit. Justin, PT evaluated me the same day, which was wonderful because I needed some pain relief! He introduced me to Astym, which I love! Libby, PTA, is experienced, knowledgeable, caring and FUN!

The staff at the Gahanna Office are very professional, always explaining what they were doing in easy to understand terms. Staff members demonstrated the various stretches and exercises before expecting me to perform them. They were always willing to answer my questions and discuss my progress. My pain has decreased while my strength and flexibility have greatly increased. I thank them so much, especially Andrea and Carmen!

In 2017 I severely strained in my Right Shoulder and after receiving my Physical Therapy at Cornerstone I walked out pain free, In 2018 I had severe pain in my left Knee (Arthritis) and my Physician at OSU suggested Physical Therapy and I knew the only place I would go was Cornerstone Physical Therapy. They have the most Compassionate and Caring Staff, Thanks to Libby, Melinda and Patrick

I've been to Cornerstone PT for several months now.First with a pinched nerve in my neck and then with Achilles's Tendonitis.I'm glad my doctor sent me to them. Libby and Patrick are such kind, caring and fun people it's easy to just relax. If you have to go for therapy, these are the two you want helping you through it. They're wonderful. And Melinda at the front desk is always concerned about the patient's care also.

Coming to Cornerstone with the best decision I made I had a torn rotator cuff and I saw an orthopedic doctor who gave me three options the first was to get cortisone shots in which I had one that lasted just about one month I could have gone back to get another shot but I could only get two shots per year. The next option was physical therapy and if that didn't help I would have to have surgery. I called my insurance company and found that I did not have to have a referral to have physical therapy so that's what I did. the first treatment that I had at Cornerstone I could see and feel a difference. This was the best decision I could have made after having five treatments I have no pain in my shoulder or the arm and I am able to reach over head and behind my back. If I ever have any issues in the future where I need Physical Therapy Cornerstone is where I will go.

I enjoyed the care the staff provided. They were great to work with. Unfortunately, their billing practices have turned into a huge hassle with my insurance company. Don't tell people their bill should be around $120 a visit if it only comes out to $75. 5 stars with the actual caregivers though.

How long does physical therapy treatment take? A typical order for physical therapy will ask for 2-3 visits per week for 4-6 weeks. Sometimes the order will specify something different. What generally happens is for the first 2-3 weeks, we recommend 3x per week.
How many months should physical therapy last? ›A good physical therapist will track progress and check whether you are making gains in range of motion, function, and strength. Generally, soft tissues will take between six and eight weeks to heal, meaning that a typical physiotherapy program will last about that long.
What can you not do in physical therapy? ›Physical therapy never includes sex. It also never includes verbal sexual advances or any other kind of sexual contact or behavior. Sexual contact of any kind in the course of a physical therapy treatment is illegal and unethical.
When does physical therapy not work? ›The decision to stop physical therapy should be one made in collaboration with your physical therapist and your physician, but 2 very different reasons it may be time to end PT include: You've reached your goals. You're not seeing progress.
